Vocals, Guitar, and Keyboards

Born in Hobbs, NM into a musical family, Dallon first studied piano. Musical influences were diversified, but Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Peter Frampton, and believe it or not Grand Funk Railroad fed his desire to play guitar. After teaching himself how to play guitar he then played for years down in the southern New Mexico area in various bands, most notable was Maple Flax which included Bill Mooney of Incognito and now the California Cowboys. Dallon moved to Albuquerque in 1981 and once again started playing in bands that mostly played the college circuit. After deciding to move into the club scene Dallon hooked up with members of Motion Picture and Babe Ruthless to form Street Heart, which enjoyed success in the late 1980’s. During this time he met Section 8 drummer Bob Gordon. In 2001 Dallon got together with Bob Gordon and Jeff Johnson to form QuiZling. Q1 wowed audiences around New Mexico until they disbanded in November 2005. Dallon and Bob went on to form Poster Child with Brian Daniel and Carl Gonzales. Then in 2012 Jeff, Dallon, and Bob decided to reform QuiZling which they have nicknamed Q2 into the band you see now. Good friends once again playing great music!

Vocals, Bass, and Keyboards

Growing up in New Jersey Jeff studied piano, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, and guitar. He then took up the bass guitar at age 16 and studied music theory. That’s when he knew he found the instrument he loved. Major influences came from such diverse bass players as Chris Squire (Yes) to Tiran Porter (Doobie Brothers). After high school Jeff moved to New Mexico where he went to college in Las Cruces. While at NMSU he earned extra money by playing rock, jazz, and country-western in various bands. Jeff moved to Albuquerque in 1982, and played in the bands One Of A Kind (his first band with Bob Gordon) and Hotline. In 1986 he teamed up with Marshall Nelson (Old Scratch) to form Della Street. Della went on to become one of the most successful bands to come out of New Mexico, releasing an album of original songs named “Faces” in 1989 and touring for years across the country, sharing the stage with such national acts as Kansas, Cheap Trick, Mariah Carey, Foghat, Gary Richwrath, Molly Hatchet, Pat Travers, The Outlaws, Steppenwolf, and many more. Della Street broke up in October 1994. In March 1995 Jeff joined the blues-rock band Stone Blue with Bob Gordon again on drums, Dave Thomas (J. T. Ripper) on guitar and John Arnold on keyboards which lasted until 1998. He then got together with Bob and Dallon in 2001 to form QuiZling. Q1 wowed audiences around New Mexico until they disbanded in November 2005. Then in 2012 Jeff, Dallon, and Bob decided to reform QuiZling which they have nicknamed Q2 into the band you see now. Good friends once again playing great music!

While growing up in Florida, Bob was bitten by the music bug and began drumming in junior high, high school, and college. He started to perform professionally in the late seventies. His early influences were King Crimson, Yes, Gentle Giant, Chick Corea and Weather Report. Through the course of his career he has traveled from coast to coast sharing the stage with many national acts. Ranging from Grover Washington Jr. to Edgar Winter. He moved to Albuquerque in 1983 and played with the band Face To Face. That’s where he met Jeff Johnson and later formed the band One Of A Kind in 1984.
